In 1993 Mark received his Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Washington University. His graduate work focused on the abstract relationships of wood and metals. Mark has a fascination with process and materials. He thrives on the creative problem solving Of sculpture utilizing the challenges to constantly expand the parameters of his work. From his continued love of the study of the human form to his extensive knowledge of process he is a sculptor in heart and soul. Sculpture has been his life’s ambition and his life’s work.
